News from 14th May, 2010 to 11th June, 2010

    Celebrations :

      The 68th Ashrama Foundation Day was held on Akshaya Tritiya Day (16th May, 2010) at Vivekananda Centenary Hall at 10 a.m. Revered Swami Mumukshanandaji Maharaj, Revered Swami Girishanandaji Maharaj offered blessings to the audience by their thought-provoking speeches. Dr. Basudev Barman also spoke of the Golden Days of his life here. Dr. Satchidananda Dhar welcomed. Swamis Satyatmananda (Head Master) and Pranananda (Jt. Director, LSP) spoke on the Educational and Rural Development aspects of the Ashrama respectively. Secretary Maharaj proposed a vote of thanks. After the meeting, about 1100 devotees took prasadam at the college-hostels. Each kitchen complex fed its employees, guardians, ex-students.

   Meeting :

      The special meeting of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was held on 25th May, 2010 at 1.30 p.m. at E-Class Room. Principal Maharaj was in the Chair and delivered the urgency of preparing data regarding IQAC and requested all of the teachers present to cooperate with the coordinator for the submission of final reports in time.

   Dr. Sobhankumar Sounda, joined the Department of Physics on 1st June, 2010.
